We all know that dried seeds are good for health. However, it is not clear to everyone whether it is better to eat these soaked or eaten directly. Everyone is saying it one way or another. It is better to eat soaked almonds and cashews overnight than to eat cashews and almonds directly as it is healthier to eat a bunch of dry nuts.
Almonds are crunchy to eat and are a favorite of many people as they are rich in protein, fiber and omega 3. The good news is that most people are aware of the health benefits of dried nuts such as almonds and cashews and include them in their daily diet.
But what most of us do not know is that soaking almonds increases the amount of nutrients and vitamins in our body than when we eat green almonds.
Soaked almonds vs. green almonds
Choosing between soaked and green almonds is not a matter of taste, but, a healthy choice. Soaked almonds are good because they contain tannin, which inhibits the absorption of nutrients. Soaking the almonds makes it easier to peel, which allows the seeds to release all the nutrients more easily.
Soaked almonds are soft and easily digested, which again helps in better absorption of nutrients. Soaking almonds for five to six hours is sufficient, but most people prefer to soak them overnight, as well as soaking bugs that come out of the milk when mixed.
The perfect way to soak almonds
Take a cup of water and soak some almonds in it. Cover the cup and let the almonds soak for six to eight hours. The next morning, remove the water, peel off the skin and eat them. Six types of trainer are good for health, including almonds, cashews, pistachios, watermelons, sunflowers, walnuts. These can be taken in small quantities all day in one gulp or in combination with any two or three types.
