When the month of Shravana comes, everyone is very busy with pujas. Despite the pujas, when Friday comes in the month of Shravana, most of the pujas are done to Goddess Lakshmi. Apart from performing pujas, the favorite flowers of Goddess Lakshmi are also offered. Also Varalakshmi Vrat is performed on the second Friday of Shravana month. If all the devotees of Varalakshmi Vrat take a bath with this mixed in the water they bathe on the day of the Vrat, the sins of their births will be removed.

On the day of Varalakshmi Vratam, people get up early in the morning, bathe and worship Goddess Lakshmi. After taking a bath, applying turmeric to the legs and face and putting a drop of saffron on it, wearing bangles and dressing like a goddess and worshiping Goddess Lakshmi, we get the grace of Goddess Lakshmi. Everyone who has done Varalakshmi vrata will not forget to take a bath with a little turmeric in the bath water and they will get the blessings of Lakshmi.

By doing Varalakshmi vratam, the troubles of some years will also be removed. It is believed that putting gold on the day of Varalakshmi Vratam will not only double but also bring wealth and prosperity. All you have to do is take a deep bath and apply turmeric on your head to get rid of all your sins. In the month of Shravana, on the day of Varalakshmi Vratam, if you also add Talara to the bath water, it will give good results.
