Relationships, Sex and Love

[ad_1]

Love and sex:

Across different cultures, love and sex related issues are handled differently. Irrespective of whether one is from the rural area or a cosmopolitan area. There is always tension among communities' sexual habits and customs on what they believe to be proper context of love. Everywhere in the world, most people prefer sexual passion to romance and companionship. There is no culture which is known to regard both passion and affection equally. In some cultures, women are taught that love is a requirement for sex while when it comes to males, they can have sex whether love is present or not. As a result of this, it is important to analyze the relationship between love and sex, is sex an important component in love, what roles either sex or love plays in a relationship. It is very important to understand that some people love for sex while others have love for sex.

According to some group of people, sex is an important part of a love relationship; it is however important to understand that most of the relationships which begin or are based on sex do not last for long. This is due to the fact that while sex is an important part of a love relationship, in the end of it all, it all relies on how the people involved are able to succeed through hard times; that's what defines a relationships. So many people are always willing to move out of relationship during hard times because it is easier to fix the problems, and one can always find sex somewhere else. As a matter of fact, as time passes on, and a relationship was based on sex, the boredom factor enters in and it tends to make people cheat or even split up. Sex is good for a relationship but if one is looking for something which can last for a lifetime, basing one's love on sex is not advisable. There are very few people who are able to keep with the pace of sex once in their marriages, it tends to slow down. This however is not to despise sex in a relationship.

Different class of thought argues that if sex is not important in a relationship, then cheating in relationships would not be considered as a big problem. After sex, experts argue that brain cells release chemicals which make the two partners feel happy and connected to each other, they also feel in much love. The effect of sex in a relationship is even much stronger in women; regular sex joins a couple better creating strong bonds. The physical affection which includes cuddling, kisses, hugs and holding hands also adds to making the bond even stronger. Sex does not always make or break a relationship but a bad or a terrible sex life or a cheating partner can lead to end of a relationship. Sex is very important to some people while to others it is not. While some people prefer frequent sex, others are weaker and don't like. As a result, if there is no compromise between the two people involved in the relationship, the relationship will eventually collapse. Sometimes one feels like having sex while at other times you feel otherwise, this means that sex is not all there is in a relationship but it is an important part of it. When doing it with someone you loves, sex helps men in re-energizing their physicality while in women, it reenergizes their emotional aspects. Sex is thus important in a relationship since it makes the two involved much happier and can help people in dealing with stress and other challenges. The best part of it is the fact that sex is good in both ways; it makes you feel good as well as your partner.

Another factor that needs to be closely analyzed is the relationship between sexual behavior and the development of love and also, growth commitment between persons involved in a relationship. Of late, there has been increased sexual permissiveness; as a result, this has affected people in relationships differently. Among the effects is the fact that high percentages of people dating or in a relationship nowadays engage in coitus or sexual behaviors very early even before they are married to each other; during the very early stages of their relationship development. Although many people view it as a good way of creating emotional intimacy, critics argue that sex at the early stages of relationship development curtails the growth and formation of greater closeness and commitment in the relationship. However, others argue that the effects or the significance of sex in a relationship is heavily dependent on the meaning the two people involved in the act attach to it and it is not upon what people view as its natural significance. Men tend to experiment on their sexual advances while women restrict the period when one should have sex. As a result, most of the times the woman determines the time when the two should have the first intercourse in the relationship. While in the past the decision whether to have sex took time and required time and soul searching, that is no longer the case nowadays. Many people in relationships can attest to the fact that sexual intercourse happens even during the first month of the relationship after the dating process begins and only a small percentage is able to postpone coitus until when the relationship has stabilized.
